After the on-road training camp in Mallorca with the rest of the OPQS Cycling Team, Zdenek Stybar will return to his first love, cyclo-cross, for a brief period of time. It will be a short but very intense interlude for the Czech champion.
Stybar will be racing in Essen on December 22nd. After the Christmas break, his schedule will get intense. On December 26th he will race at World Cup in Zolder, on the 28th at Loenhout, the 29th at Bredene and the 30th at Diegem. Stybar will toast the new year on January 1st at the cross event in Baal. His last competitive challenge will be at the Czech National Championship on January 12th, in his native city, Stribro.
"Of course the very well discussed world championships in Louisville is not for me this year" Stybar said.
He will be missed.
